Hiaton Media is an independent publisher based in Ottawa, Canada. It was founded to promote the work of independent authors that are not interested in traditional industry representation.

The word Hiaton is derived from the Canadian First Nations Huron-Wendat band language meaning “to write”; “to mark something”.
